This home is situated at the top of a sloped lot, so the views overlooking the lake are spectacular! Please be aware, there are approximately 60 steps down to the dock, boathouse and water, with a landing area halfway. The master bedroom has a wonderful lake view and features a King size bed, walk in closet and tv, the back bedroom features a fireplace, a Queen size bed and a sleeper couch that makes into a full size bed plus a tv with DVD player, many games and a large coffee table for games or puzzles. There are 2 additional bedrooms, one with a Queen size bed and full size closet, looking out to the lake, the other with 3 twin beds and a full size closet. The house sleeps 10 people comfortably. Washer and Dryer are included. There are 2 full bathrooms, one with a full shower and the other with a tub shower. There is a permanent pier dock, providing for plenty of room for your water toys and a slip in the boat house can be reserved upon request, it will fit a ski boat up to 20' length. Some of the best fishing on the chain, is right out in front of our dock. You have access to 28 lakes to explore and there are several restaurants accessible by water, as well as, access to public docking to tie up to explore downtown Eagle River and the public T docks are located right across the lake for convenient launching your boat. We also have a 2017 year model Harris 23" Pontoon boat. This Pontoon has a 115 HP outboard motor. If you wish to have access to a top end Pontoon boat, you don't need to arrange a separate rental, you can opt to include it with your stay at rate of $220.00 per day. This cabin is the only cabin we rent on the property. You are not sharing docks, frontage, furniture, fire pit, grill, and grounds with other guests. We have 200 feet of sand frontage that is just a step down of an inch or two from the grass shore. The bottom gently slopes making it great for lounging or children playing. We have our own boat launch just a few feet from the cabin. No need to put up with crowded boat launches. You have your own dock right in front of the cabin with power for live wells or recharging your trolling motor. Don’t have a boat? We work with a third party that delivers and picks up your rental boat right at the dock. No need to go to crowded marinas to rent and return a boat. As more than one guest put it…” location, location, location.” It is beautiful. Our home is several hundred feet away and as a previous guest wrote…” close enough if there’s a problem, but far enough away to respect our privacy.” Enjoy the Norhtwoods at a cabin that allows the safety you need and the amenities you want. Originally, a restaurant and general store built in the late 1960’s; this building is literally on the water. The original owners rented houseboats until the chain became developed. Waves literally go under the building and afford you your own private dock as well as a private boat launch right on our property. The old kitchen has been converted to consume grade appliances, but is still very large for a small cabin. The old dining room is a combination living, dining, and bedroom that can easily accommodate up to six people in dormitory style sleeping arrangement. You share 200 feet of prime frontage with my wife and me. We are close enough to assure a trouble free stay, but far enough away to assure your privacy. We offer a flat screen TV, Wi-Fi with up to 100 mps down and 10 mps up speeds. It also includes free use of a gas grill including gas, your own dock, and use of two more docks for fishing or sunning. Lynx Lake is a quiet lake, but offers access to all 28 lakes on the chain. We have air-conditioning! And, a new heating system. Rate assumes you will provide your own sheets & towels. The third guest room has a queen bed and shares the upstairs bathroom which has a tub/shower combo and two large closets for plenty of storage. The lower level bedroom sleeps 5 with a queen bed, and bunks, twin over full. The lower level also has gorgeous views of the lake with a large open rec room with a pool/ping pong table, and a walkout basement. This room also houses another set of bunk beds twin over twin. A 3/4 bathroom is located down stairs as well. All the bathrooms are stocked with towels, hand towels, wash clothes, hand soap, and 2 rolls of toilet paper. Another fantastic feature of this home is a lower level living room with partial kitchen. This room features a gas fireplace and TV. Great space for kids or adults to relax, and play games if the weather is bad. Laundry is located on the main level with laundry detergent included. The kitchen is fully stocked. The oven is an Induction Oven so please only use the pots and pans provided. All three TV’s in the house have Roku to watch your own shows and movies. High speed internet is also included. Linens are provided for all the beds. Towels are included. Please bring your own beach towels for the lake!! We DO NOT provide those! I also recommend bringing paper goods for the kitchen. I have found it much easier than washing dishes when on vacation! We also have a place for you to dock your own boat, or we can recommend a couple of places for boat rentals nearby. Eagle River hosts a plethora of activities and things to do. Mini golfing, laser tag, horseback riding, go karts, The Northwoods Children's Museum are just a few.
